It is distributed as a software package that can be installed on a disk erase workstation and used to examine, erase, and write images to individual disks or batches of disks. Highly customizable, the software conforms to any company standards—erasure standards, examination types, reporting, and error handling are only a subset of the configurable application features. All elements of disk processing operations can be documented in XML reports, PDF certificates, or printable labels for erased hard drives.
